Summary, etc |
Growing up in New York City in the shadow of her mother, a famous prima ballerina, Clara has never felt good about her body. Now, at sixteen, she has an unhealthy obsession with healthy eating. After a social media disaster, Clara decides to escape for the summer to Paris to stay with her estranged dad, her step-mom, and her six-year-old brother Alastair. Clara has hardly ever spent time with Alastair, who is on the autism spectrum. Charged with his care, Clara sets out with Alastair to explore the city. The fabled city of light, and a handsome young Parisian baker's apprentice, teach Clara about first love, and a new approach to food. And Alastair teaches Clara about patience, trust, and the beauty of loving without judgment. |
